A British Journalist of Jordanian decent, who has recently returned from the Lebanon Syria border.

Currently a Producer for ITN,  formerly of Sky News, she has also worked as a freelance reporter and video journalist in Jordan, and as a Producer at Al Jazeera in Doha, Qatar. Prior to her Masters in Television Journalism, Omari was a trainee reporter at the Blackpool Gazette.

She also read Politics at the University of Sussex and studied Arabic at the University of Jordan, Qasid Institute, Amman, and SOAS, University of London.

She was also nominated for the XCity Journalism award for her work covering the Syrian refugee crisis, more info here.

Once upon a time she trained Tigers in Northern Thailand.
